  • I'm at Starbucks snooping around your site for material. See you at noon, high noon, be ready. What was your toughest search. What is the toughest thing about recruiting. Do you know about a candidate in the first two minutes? Sounds bland. It won't be. Trust me.
  • REally enjoyed the post. I would add one more to your list of networking tips. "Don't be too quick to discount someone as a valuable contact" (I admit that could use some refining :) ). I think too often people network just for the moment, the here and now. Today I work at XYZ company and I sell widgets. I am looking to network with people who will build value for me at this business. What about the personal value (IE not business related)of networks? What about when you no longer sell widgets, or no longer work at XYZ company? In my oppinion, a network's life should not be connected to your current job. Rather, it should be connected to YOU.

I hope you knocked 'em dead with the Recruiting Animal, I am excited to check it out
