- From a business perspective the terms on invoices I send out have gone from Net-30 to Net-15. I've also arranged to have the ability for clients to pay with credit in addition to check.

I just found Nerd Guru, blog of Pete Johnson, who helps geeks act (in public) like oxygen-breathing human-beings.
… oh, and he’s Chief Architect of HP.com, too.

Hey Jason and Robert,

Thanks for the kind words, both of you. I swear, I was already breathing oxygen before I figured out these best practices I write about 8). Everybody can benefit from these sorts of things, but my techie brethren tend to struggle with such things more than other people do. I was fortunate to find great mentors and really all I'm doing is trying to pay that forward.
